What is a custom home?
It starts a floor plan to fit your life
style and your needs.
A custom home is a home built specifically
for you just the way you want it. In your custom home you will
be asked to select a variety of items that make the home truly
yours and not just some stock plan with changes. Just some of
the items you will select during this personalization process
includes:
Brick & Stone Color and size
Roof Color & material
Windows Wood or vinyl
Doors Paint or stain, Wood,
fiberglass, Masonite
Light Fixtures & Fans Size, style, finish
Plumbing Fixtures Size, style, finish
Flooring Type, style, color
Counter tops Type & color
Paint Colors
Appliances Style & color
In
addition to these selections during the construction you will
meet with Brian and a number of the subcontractors. The purpose
of these meetings will be to get everything in the right spot.
You will review the cabinet layout in the kitchen, confirming
locations and sizes of drawers. You will meet with the
electrician to confirm the location of outlets, switches, and
light fixtures. You will also meet with specialty
subcontractors (if needed) to define locations for television,
home entertainment, and telephone wiring.
Another advantage to working with a
flexible builder is that changes can be incorporated at any
time. All you need to do is ask. We will make the change for
our cost plus our modest fee as spelled out in advance in the
contract.
